Hua Hin | The Juniper Tree Dolphin Bay

For the second half of our break, we decided to fly the coop and get away from the city life for a few days. We hopped on a public train at the Bangsue station near home and made our way down to the Hua Hin station. Roughly four hours later and with a fine layer of dust/dirt on our clothes, we stretched our legs out and quickly realized we hadn’t actually come up with a plan on how to get to The Juniper Tree retreat center from the train station. Whoops! Dan had his stubborn cap on and was refusing to pay the fare the one taxi available was charging; I didn’t care because I was busy eating a salapao — the pregnant lady was hungry and not helpful.

Here are some travel pictures I posted on Instagram of our memories:

(You can also click through our feed and experience the wonders of Celine Dion — what the driver played for us on the ride to the resort.) Even though it was a fun adventure we got to share and have lots of funny memories from our train ride, the clean & refreshing atmosphere of the place and the quiet stretch of beach right across the street were welcome sights!
